Valley Bank note is printed on paper from the bank and is pasted on the reverse side of the page. The note reads:
As a result of the June 5, 1976 flood the exterior of the bank had to be completely redone. Almost all of the plants and shrubs had to be replanted. The lawn was completely dug up and replaced with new sod. The brick portion of the exterior had to be cleaned and the wooden portion of the exterior had to be repainted. The front door and the front window panes also had to be replaced. As remodeling progressed the building directly east of the bank was purchased and raised. We then installed the new four car pneumatic tube drive-in windows. We feel that the Valley Bank corner is one of the most beautiful areas in Rexburg.
