The photo is in colour. The subject of the photo is the JC Penny Storefront after the flood waters receded from the streets. The day the photo was taken the store moved clothing racks out of the store itself. It is unknown if that signified a sale due to flood damage, or if they removed the clothes to better asses the damages inside. On the front of the photo in the bottom margin is a label that reads "15Jun76 Flood Damage at JC Penney store, Rexburg 21-7. The dimensions of the photo are 3.5" X 4.5. These photos originally belonged to the Standard Journal. This photo comes from the old Standard Journal Warehouse located at 23 S 1st E.
