On the back of the photo is written "6-24 main street. W-story and another picture." This photo comes from the old Standard Journal Warehouse located at 23 S 1st E. On the back of a copy of this photo that was in poorer condition and was not kept it read, "Teton Dam Disaster #6 -- This east to west shot on Rexburg's Main Street was taken about 30 minutes after the water reached the city. Water depth ranged from five to seven feet. Aed. and Pay! Rexburg Standard Journal".
