Flood Damaged Business InteriorDescription
This B&W interior shot is very dark. This could be part of the Standard Journal, or a business that did screen printing (???) as there is a machine to the right of the photo that could be a screen printer. In the middle of the photo is a piece of metal connected to a rod. It looks like a locker-type contraption, as there are vents in it, but it might have been pushed sideways during the flood. To the left of this is a large vat full of liquid. Over the edge of it are draped some papers or cloths, though one looks like a newspaper. In the foreground is a table covered with papers, mud and straw. Mud & straw is visible elsewhere in the photo. This photo is 5.5x7". This photo comes from the old Standard Journal Warehouse located at 23 S 1st E.
