Crew Cleaning Out A BuildingDescription
The photo was contained in a brown envelope with "Thanks Dave Gauts" Written in cursive. The subject of the photo is a clean-up crew clearing out the debris and rubble from a building that was hit by the flood. One member of the crew is wearing a hardhat whereas the rest are just wearing regular clothes. The ceiling of the building they are cleaning out has a zig-zag pattern. The walls however are quite plain. The floor is covered in flood mud and it looks as though the crew is struggling to wade through it. This photo comes from the old Standard Journal Warehouse located at 23 S 1st E. The dimensions of the photo are 7" X 5"
