Boy Hauling Lumber after FloodDescription
This photo was contained in a brown folder with many other photos. There was a note on the front in cursive that said, "Thanks Dave Gaut". This B&W photo focusses on a young man who is working - throwing large pieces of wood/ lumber. He's facing to the left in the photo. He's wearing a white T-shirt and jeans or dark pants. He seems to be throwing the wood from one pile into another. Maybe it's a dumpster but it's difficult to tell. Behind him, to the right of the photo is a large pile of twigs, broken lumber, frames, debris, etc. In the background, across the road are houses, some showing damage and rubble in the yards. There is a note on the back that reads: "3 col Volunteer from Buhl area. 150% P.I. B" (the b is circled). This photo is 5x8". This photo comes from the old Standard Journal Warehouse located at 23 S 1st E.
