Ravaged Farm

Description

This photo was taken in colour, and was shot in the Wilford area. The shot was taken using a wide lens. The subject of the photo is farm that was hit by the flood waters of the flood. The soil is very gravely which suggests the top soil was removed in some places leaving only the bedrock behind. Some portions of the land still have patches of grass as in the foreground of the shot, and in the background near the storage structures. In the midground of the shot are farm machines. These machines were coated in red paint. Behind the machines is a small white barn with a ladder coming out of a opening near the loft of the structure. Behind this structure is a mound storages area with grey brick used to make the front of the storage, and packed dirt to cover it. The photo is a part of a digital collection donated to the museum by Rick Davis.
