Hollow Home

Description

This photo was taken in colour and near the Wilford area. The subject of the photo is a house that has been gutted by the rushing waves of the Teton flood. The house is a single story with a basement area. All but the main support beams and a few walls survived the brutal onslaught of the water. The portion of the house on the left hand side of the photo was torn asunder leaving a gaping hole where rooms once stood. The house also looks like it may have been slightly moved from its foundation. The photo is a part of a digital collection donated to the museum by Rick Davis.
