ORIGINAL PAINTING for the four-color cover of the St. Louis Suburban Telephone Directory is presented by James F. Haake (left), district manager of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, to Arthur K. Atkinson, chairman of the board of the National Museum of Transport. The painting will be displayed at the museum on Barretts Station road. The scene is carried on the 250,000 copies of the directory which have been distributed to subscribers in greater St. Louis.
