"I love experimenting with my own original designs and putting my own "twist' on an old pattern to please myself. Making miniature quilts goes along with my fascination for tiny things .... dolls, dollhouses, bottles, purses, pictures, glass, beadwork, lace, etc. My miniature "Midwinter Night's Dream' was a little personal challenge to myself
to miniaturize one of my big quilts. At the age of 75, could I really do it and not be embarrassed to put my name on it? What a wonderful and encouraging project it turned out to be, even though I heard friends often remarking "Nance, now I KNOW you're crazy.'"
