“I can't remember a time when I didn't sew. I helped my mother and grandmother work with a variety of needle arts. I became interested in quilting after the birth of my son. I belong to several quilt groups because the support of a group and the learning experience have helped me immeasurably. Baskets I continues to be one of my favorite quilts. It reminds me of how much quilting has changed for me since this quilt was made in 1983. Quilting has taken over! I love the excitement, curiosity, gratification and frustrations that are a part of the process of creating a quilt. The great opportunity quilting offers me is the constant challenge of the next quilt, inspired by lots of wonderful fabrics.”
