Using minimal seaming for maximum impact, this quilt channels the bold colors and expansive space manipulation of the artist Clyfford Still. The dense match-stick quilted color changing threads create subtle color changing texture across the whole composition. The color pieced binding is also heavily quilted and is integral to the composition instead of being its frame.

A special retroreflective thread is incorporated into the quilting and can only be identified by flash photography, or by shining a bright light on the quilt while it is in the dark.
