"I made my first quilt for a Grange contest in Miami County, Ohio in celebration of our country's Bi-Centennial and knew then that I had to make more. When I first saw this quilt pattern on a Stearns and Foster batting package, I knew I had to make it. Quilting has opened many doors for me. I have met so many friends through shows and contests, by phone, letters and personal visits. I can't imagine what life would be like without having a quilt in the making."
