"In my work, color is my primary interest. Pattern and form are secondary, usually limited to one or two simple repeated shapes. It is the relationships between the colors and shapes that give the work interest, movement and when they really work, excitement. Working with color gives me joy. If I can share that joy with the viewer for a moment, then I am content."
