"My quilting career started as a teenager when my mother insisted that I learn to quilt. I have been very thankful for her getting me started."
It wasn’t until Imogene had back surgery in 1975 that she really became involved with quilting. "In order to use up some of Mother’s scraps (and keep myself busy) I pieced a Thousand Pyramids quilt. From then on I was hooked!"
Imogene was intrigued by the different designs possible in the border print fabric she found. Feathered Star Sampler is the result.
