"My inspiration was from an antique quilt, from a Dover book, that had feather hearts in the center and a floral design. There are 356 circles in the vines. This quilt was a three year project. In the last few years I have been doing both hand work an machine work. I love them both! I have had problems with my hands and had carpel tunnel surgery on them. Then I had a thumb joint with no cartilage and had it fused. Today my hands both work well and I am so thankful for that. All my hand quilted quilts have been quilted using a 14" hoop. I usually sit in my Laz-Z Boy chair and do lap quilting."
