"The entire process of creating a quilt is 'sew' much fun:
-shopping--feeling and seeing the tempting colors and prints;
-viewing photos and paintings and imagining how they might translate into a quilt;
-traveling and composing photos to inspire future designs; and
-playing with color and textures while dyeing fabric.
Creating quilts allows me to use my favorite objects--needle, fabric, color, and thread--my senses, and my imagination. I hope to touch the viewer with my vision: What does the viewer see from a distance and up close? How might the viewer use what I have done to create something new and original?"
