"What I hope to achieve with the artistry of my quiltmaking is difficult for me to answer as I'm in my nineties and a much better quilter than a writer.
To me quilting is a soothing, rewarding therapeutic experience. Beginning in 1970 I was a caregiver for several family members. During all the difficult times, prayers and quilting kept me sane. So to you quilters out there, should you find yourself in the same situation, keep on quilting!
I feel that quilting has helped me reach my older age and it is my hope that I will be able to add many more years to my age with my love of quilting."
