Transcript from "Go Tell it at the Quilt Show," filmed by the Quilt Alliance at the 2019 International Quilt Show in Houston, Texas.
"In the year 2000 was very dark time of my life. I found myself first time alone. Even though I've been in this country several years, but I found out that I still difficult to communicate in English. My world seemed very, very small. So one day by chance I found myself in the local quilt shop. So I was a fascinated with a new art form, so I decided to take a class, buy some fiber, make a quilt, join the guild. A whole new world just opened up for me, so I grew technically and skilled, so I found that IQA so I become to member. IQA help me to even move further, so my basic quilt is base my memory long ago in Hawaii. So one night is a soft light moonlight- the light touch the seed and the flower the tiny inside is a dazzling place. I never forgot the moment. This quilt is my way to share my nice memory with everyone. By standing in here I really feel I'm living an American dream."Label Type

"Although it is often said that butterflies do not fly at night, these butterflies could not resist the lure of the soft glow of moonlight as they frolic in a beautiful garden. Later they will return to spend the last nighttime hours safely tucked in the crevices of a nearby rock or underneath a fallen leaf.
Take a moment to enjoy the natural beauty of these gentle creatures as represented in the art of quilting."
