"The center circular design for Morning Glory came from Techney Chimes, a Nancy Pearson pattern that I admired. I stenciled the appliquéd flowers to give them a three-dimensional look. The quilting in the borders presented specific challenges. After I marked the longest border, I washed it out, wanting something more unusual. That day a quilt magazine arrived featuring a design which fit my quilt border perfectly! This quilt was a pure joy to work on."
