"I wanted to leave to the quilt world and my family footprints of my passing and knowledge of the arts illustrated in stitches.
I accomplished this by having three quilts with permanent homes in museums. One is in the Gerald R. Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan; one is in the History and Culture Center in Charleston, West Virginia; and one is in the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Kentucky.
I am very proud to have accomplished my mission, and to all of you out there for giving me the opportunity to achieve my goals, thank you."
