"I became interested in quilting in 1973 while completing a B.S. in Home Economics. Though I’ve retired from lecturing and teaching quilt classes around the world, I have been stretching the possibilities of my work through classes and entering gallery shows with a local art group called Pointless Sisters. This quilt is a sampler of Mariner’s Compass designs that were inspired by my book Mariner’s Compass Quilts: New Directions."
