"A needle and thread are familiar tools for me, as I learned sewing skills from my mother. My work in the field of quiltmaking is the process of carrying on the tradition. Exploring design and color are my main goals. Night and Noon Variation was designed to explore miniature quilt blocks. A thirteen-inch block was drafted to obtain a six-inch center for the miniatures. There are twelve miniatures, with two squares being the same pattern."
