"Though I learned how to piece a nine patch when I was nine years old, I didn’t get into quilting until I had a bad accident as an adult and needed something to do while I recovered. Since then I’ve made numerous quilts for family members and friends. This quilt was inspired by a friends’ quilt project of blue and white fabrics. It’s dedicated to the memory of my late husband, Dr. Thomas Stone, who named it Peace and Love."
