"Invited by a neighbor to join a quilt group in 1978, I immediately felt an aptitude for the craft and enjoy the challenge of making each quilt. I especially enjoy the actual quilting, rather than the piecing or marking. The quilts I work on become a part of me, making them difficult to part with."
