"The design for this quilt was developed by Ross Tucker, a student a Corydon Middle School in Corydon, Indiana. The quilt was made in conjunction with a special project a the middle school which resulted in a book of contemporary designs created with 'the vision of youth and the skill of maturity.'"
"The project grew out of a comment I made when I saw the work students in this school were creating in art classes taught by my daughter, Rudee Rodriguez. Their quality of their work led me to comment, 'The students' designs should be published.' The result was Capitalizing Designs, a book featuring student's designs and photos of quilts executed in those designs by experienced quilters."
