"Inspiration is a painting by Henri Matisse, 'Summer 1915,' currently in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I chose a small segment of the painting to layer and stitch as part of a collective art piece created by the Kingston Fibre Artists Group in Kinston, ON. The message: let bread be the world's foundation for the meal; all other gathered donations a blessing."
