“Summer Garden is one of a series of garden impressions. It was designed intuitively, working with small remnants of dyed fabrics to create the impression of a walkway through a beautiful garden. I use photographs taken during holidays with my husband in the Australian rainforest, outback or barrier reef as the jumping off point for my designs. I want the viewer to be aware of the beauty of the natural environment that is being gradually eroded by man’s uncontrolled intrusion."Label Type

Through the age old traditions of quilting, the individuality of different fibres has been explored in detail, and a new artform is emerging.
