"In my youth, I spent many hours pulling in crab lines baited with chicken necks. It took great skill to net the crabs before they released the bait. Later, I took my own children crabbing. They were delighted (and slightly terrified) when a crab escaped from the boil pot. This quilt is my nostalgic memory of youth before the time of smart phones and other devices."
