"I made my first quilt top, a Dresden Plate design, at the age of 11. I started piecing a few more quilt tops while still a youngster, but quilting was not to become a ruling factor in my life until many years later when I purchased a pre-designed and marked quilt top. After a few years I began thinking of buying my own materials and designing my own quilts."
