"Hand quilting gives me a way to express my desire to create lasting works of creativity and artistry. Though this is an award-winning quilt, I must admit that it includes one flow. I missed quilting one flower in the center design as I quilted on that January 1986 day the NASA shuttle Challenger exploded. I left the error as a remembrance.”
