"Quilting has become the focus of my life, with several projects in the works or travelling to shows. I work on some aspect of quilting every day. I collect antique quilts and fabrics, using the patterns, colors, and design elements as inspiration for my own work. Every block in this quilt contains some vintage fabric and the overall color scheme was influenced by Mennonite quilts from Pennsylvania."
