Description
This postcard is a picture of North Bay Normal School. The Normal school is a four story brick building that has been built on a raised-tiered
foundation. The card shows that the school has seven steps up to the walkway to the front entrance way to the school, which has another five steps up to a landing at the arched doorway, which has an overhead roof supported by 4 columns. To the left of this is an addition of solid brick (with the exception of two small windows) to the same height as the door or main floor. This structure also has an opened front with an overhead roof supported by two columns to show a large arched window. On top of the roof is a round dome and an ornate wall all around the
roof. Another addition is on the right side of this, as marking another doorway with five steps up to the door. There are flowers and shrubs surrounding the building.
