Description
This is a clear, coloured picture of North Bay Normal School. The Normal School is a four-storey brick building constructed on a tiered grassy noll. The school has seven steps leading to the walkway to the front entrance, where there is five more steps to an arched doorway. The overhead roof supported by 4 columns. To the left of this is an addition of solid brick that has two small windows, and is the height of the doorway or first level.
The building has an opened veranda type concept, supported by two columns and an arched window. On top of the buildings roof is a round dome, and all around the roof edge is an ornate railing. Another addition to the building is to the right side and also has the same ornate
railing surrounding its roof. Flowers and shrubs surround the building.
Across the top of photo are printed "The Normal School, North Bay, Ontario, Canada." There is no message on the back side of the postcard.
