Description

The postcard image is taken on Fraser and Second Streets, the location of the C. N. R. station. This is a brick building for the arrival and departure of people and cargo to the city. It is a long red brick building with a white foundation, and the entrance has a canopy overhead in front of which is a parked 1900 roadster. To the left of this is a glassed, arched doorway to the interior of the station, and windows to the left. The station has a tunnel walkway built under the railway tracks for local traffic. The roof of the building is blue and has a triangle dormer over the area of the glassed arch doorway, with an unidentified plaque. The back of the postcard has no message on it. The lower front left corner has the number 112403 <j v>. Across the top of the card the words, C. N. R. Station, North Bay, Ontario, Canada, and it is Printed in black ink, and the postcard image is a coloured picture.
