Photo of John Halliday & Son Hardware. This store was purchaed by John Halliday in 1941. Original owners by J.W. McDonald later joined by Geo E. Hay and firm named “McDonald & Hay”. Eventually Geo. W. McDonald, son of J.W. took over the business and operated until 1941 until sold to Joh Halliday. Business was later sold to Robert Edwards in 1957. Information from "North Bay" by WKP Kennedy.
