Description
This is a postcard of the D. Purvis residence, in North Bay. The image is taken from the side of the home. The building is an old, 3 storey, black house. There is a small white fence at the front of the home. There is seven steps to get to the front entrance of the home. There is also a porch on the side of the home with another seven steps to get to the entrance. The house is asymetrica, it looks possibly like a Victorian homel. The home has big, large windows on all sides of the building. There appears to be a man standing on the landing of the home. There are a few sparse looking trees on the front lawn of the home.
On the back of the postcard it is addressed to Mr. Angus McDonald, South River, Ont. from Belle. There is also a green one cent stamp (with King George V on it). The stamp has been crossed out.
