Description

Small print is of a horse-drawn wagon showing a model of a pioneer home. A RCMP Officer on a horse is at the forefront. The North Bay Nugget describing the parade describes this float which was created by the T.&N.O. Railway. The float was created to show the best of Northern Ontario including farming, mining, and railroad. The first portion of the float that is visible in this image is devoted to farming, and includes a fiddler playing North Bay's oldest violin (also referenced in Nugget article).
