This type of plane was not at the RAF flying school so must have been passing through North Bay when photo was taken North Bay Nugget and photographer Kevin W. Moore stamped on back of photo.A news article on Whitey the dog was run in the North Bay Nugget in 1952 as well. Whitey was first brought to the airport by manager L.W. Hicks when used as a training base during World War Two. After the war, Whitey "worked for" Trans Canada Airlines. With the return of the RCAF the Nugget ran a store on Whitey's "promotion" in 1952.Date(s) of Creation
