Description

This is a B&W print of the Public Library, North Bay, Ont. The library is a two story, brick building. The front entrance has two sets of steps. A brick dais holds about 14 steps on each side, which join 4 more going directly up to the front doors. a small oval doorway leads from gound level under the steps to enter that level. Over the main entrance are "Public Library" printed in the stone above th doorway. On the back of the postcard is a printed message in red ink from A.J. Ackman, the florist, North Bay, Ont. 48 Oak St. phone 505. this message gives the prices of: "Carnations - $3.00/dozen. Roses - $3-5.00/dozen. Special Beaties - $10.00." All of which is written in red ink. A square with a black shield in it reads "Made in Canada" which is on the top right corner where a stamp would go.
