020.30.04a - Large brown file folder with white label. Inscription on folder reads "Canadian Pacific Railway","If Not Delivered Within 14 Days, Return To Pension Dept. Canadian Pacific Ry. Co. Montreal." Inscription on label reads "Mr. Wilfred Courchesne, ["Engine Waterman" is scratched out], Labourer, M.D. c / p General Superintendent, Canadian Pacific Railway Co. , North Bay , Ont. 239259." 020.30.04b - Dark brown 18-page pamphlet, inscribed with image of statue with bronze plaque and wreath, and "Canadian Pacific War Memorials". According to the CPR, item is "A record by photograph and by contemporary newspaper comment of the unveiling of War memorials dedicated to men of the Canadian Pacific Railway who paid the supreme sarifice during the Great War. In each case the War Mmemorial was actually unveiled by the father or the mother of one of those who in lifetime served the Canadian Pacific long and faithfully in the distric where the Memorial has been erected." 020.30.04c - Certificate praising Wilfred Courchesne for serving in military in World War I. Certificate features memorial stone engraving which displays military imagery including soldiers, trains, horses, a tank, a warship, a transport ship, a train, and a plane.
