Description
This is a coloured postcard of Bala Lake in Muskoka Lakes, Canada. It appears to be a calm day with many people nulling about. There are several boats in the water. A hill across the lake seems to be a picnic area among the many trees, with lots of people enjoying themselves. At the far end of the lake is a two-story boat house, and home. There is a wooden walking path with a bridge to cross to the other side is in the foreground, with canapied boats docked along side.
The back of the postcard has a few words written to Margret from Daddy. The postmark is from Sudbury, Ont, with a black cancelled mark across the red 2cent stamp. On the lower right corner are the #'s 111,027 followed by the letter J.Y. inside a small circle.Creator
