Description
The postcard has needlework picture on the front. The needlework was originally intended to be attached to a postcard backing but it has been
framed in a decorated paper frame. The raised texture of the needlework creates a decorative border on the frame was pressed into paper upon manufacture. There is a picture of an airplane surrounded by 5 flags and a curving vine with green leaves and yellow berries. The flags from right to left are: Great Britain, Italy, Belgium, Russia and France. The colour of thread used are: blue, white, red, yellow, black, grey and light green. The airplane is grey and yellow with the each wing stitched in a blue, white and red stripe.
