CPR Crew in front of Box Car. Ken Roy started at the CPR in North Bay in 1950-51 as a fireman shovelling coal into the fire box of steam engines. When the CPR went to diesel engines, Roy was grandfathered to Engineer and finished his career as such. He worked out of North Bay all over the CPR district. As a kid in the 1960s donor (Roys' son) recall going to the CPR ice shed at the rail yards (just south of the station, museum now) and getting chunks of ice to cool off in the summer. Ken retired in the 1980s and passed away in 2015 at 86 years old.
