According to Bill Alexander, museum volunteer and military history consultant, "The image appears to be a labour / pioneer unit. (eg l construction). If I understand the note on the back of the image, these may be Dutch Nazis. (Dutch who had Nazi ideals and joined the Dutch Nazi forces.)" 021.31.04 - Inscription: "Rommel in Italy", "Fotokinowerken Walter Borrenbergen Dambruggestraat, 265 Antwerpen". According to Bill Alexander, museum volunteer and military history consultant, "Feldmarschall Erwin Rommel. One of Nazi Germany's most talented generals." 021.31.05 - Inscription: "The two criminals", "'Photorex' Dambruggestraat 255, Antwerpen".
