Description

Sepia coloured image of 3 people fishing in a canoe on the French River. On the back of the postcard there is a handwritten note which says "Dear Earl: They don't paint here, all they do is fish. A fine place, and a beautiful country. Mr Murray" dated 7/13/46. It was sent to "Mr. Carl Miller. Meyersdale. Pa. U.S.A.". Also written on back is "Intaglio Gravure Limited. 322 King Street West. Toronto." with a small logo "Intaglio Gravure Limited. Painted in Canada. Toronto". It also includes a 3 cents purple stamp, as well as a stamp which says "French River. AM. Jul. 15. 46. ONT.".
