This group photograph shows members of the North Bay Pipes and Drums under the direction
of Drum Major Dave Byrnes (far right) and Pipe Major Dave Pace (far left).
Throughout the band’s lifetime, the North Bay Pipes and Drums, known in 1991 as the Royal
Canadian Legion Branch 23 Pipes and Drums, represented their Legion and their city at many
events regionally, provincially, nationally, and internationally. Here, the band members are
wearing their full-dress uniforms in July 1991 at the Legion Convention in London, Ontario.
