Description
The front of this coloured postcard shows an image of a man dressed in furs snow shoeing and possibly hunting (because of his gun). There is also a wolf or a dog next to the man. On the right side of the image is an illustration of two flags crossing (one of which is the British Union Jack), and an image of a leaf. The text on the bottom right hand corner reads "Our watchword evermore shall be the Maple Leaf for ever."
On the top right hand corner on the back of the postcard says "1c Canada and United States 2c Foreign in a box." On the lower left hand corner the post card says "GB and 12.50" (probably amount paid by collector for this card). This postcard is one of a series of 33 cards found in old Museum corner Main and Ferguson when moving to CPR station and new Museum.
