Description
The front of this postcard has a Gold coloured border, a beige background, and a pale blue horizontal scroll surrounded by purple and blue violets. There is a Canadain Crest in upper righthand corner in a white-backgrounded circular gold frame. There is Gold lettering as follows: "GREETINGS FROM CANADA," at the bottom of the postcard.
On the back of the postcard at the centre of the top of the card the numbers 387 056 written in pencil. Also in the top left hand corner the number 4 in pencil. In centre of top line the words POST CARD. In the right top corner a box reading: "Place Stamp Here. Domestic Canada Great Britain Germany One Cent Foreign Two Cents" In the bottom left hand corner "Series No. 899" is written, and in bottom right hand corner $4.00 is written in pencil.
The post card is divided in half vertically. On the left side the words "This space may be used for writing" appear. On the right side "This side for the address only" is wirtten. Someone has written across the card on green ink
