Description
The front of the postcard has a coloured image of the of of C.P.R. Station, North Bay. There are CANADIAN PACIFIC carriages in foreground. Note the various traintracks in the back. There is also a clear view of North Bay downton buildings behind the two station buildings. The photo was taken prior to the extension of the 2nd floor of the main station which occured in 1946.
On the back of hte postcard there is a STAMP with King George VI and 2 c Postes Canada Postage. There is a handwritten message saying
"Thursday Quebec City Dear Etta, Arrived here today. We are having quite a time moving in. Will try and write for tomorrow. Have no time just now. Love Cliff.." The postcard is addressed to Mrs. C. Dowson, 227 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.Date(s) of Creation
